United Airlines A320-200 San Francisco to Burbank

Doing a short hop with an aircraft I haven’t used in a while. United serves Burbank from San Francisco with Embraer 175s, A319-100s, and 737-800s. However, we don’t have a United A319 in Infinite Flight yet, and the A320 has been substituted on this route in the past, so the conclusion was a natural one. Plus, I do a lot of flying between the Bay Area and Burbank regularly, so it’s always nice to have the controls for routes I commonly travel on.

Thanks for the summon! Amazing job @1930_Granada, KBUR is always a fun flight glad you enjoyed it. I once flew KSFO to KBUR on a United 752.

Thank you! How long ago was that, because United hasn’t flown 757s into Burbank in years?

I’d say it was about two or three years ago. I went to check it out even though it was dark. They continued operating the 752 into KBUR for the next three weeks using the same call sign. The most recent 752 visits have been a New Pacific charter from Bozeman, a UPS flight to Louisville, and N770BB, which is based out of here. Biggest aircraft we have now is the once weekly FedEx 767-300.

I’ve seen 570BB a few times, once when it was landing. Never seen a 767 on the ground at BUR, but I’ve seen one turning onto final. I’ll have to ask my friend who flies them for Delta what thrust and flap settings he’d be using for an airport that size.

Realism police inside of me trying to control the fact you took of on the shortest runway in SFO meant for GA planes.

I’ve seen everything from business jets to an Aeroméxico 737-800 use 1L for takeoff.
