Once I got to the gate, I got to see the beautiful 787-10 taking me to Tokyo today. I was seated in 20A, in the premium economy cabin.
After a classic long O’hare taxi, we finally took off and I got to see one of the most prettiest sunsets ever in my life as we were banking out of ORD heading north.
Shortly after we got to cruising altitude, the meal services begun. It was delicious, I enjoyed my meal. After I was full decided to get some sleep.
Several hours passed and then I woke to seeing we were 2 hours out from Tokyo. Then the breakfast service begun. After breakfast I decided to check out the IFE a bit and see where we were.
Right as we were about to descend into Tokyo, I asked the flight attendant if I could possibly get a visit into the flight deck. She came back after asking the captains and told me the best news of this flight, I can visit the flight deck after we had landed. After a smooth descend into Tokyo, we had landed. We had a quick taxi today. Then we made it to the gate and as deboarding began I went into the flight deck.
Had a little chat with the pilots and it was time to leave. Got to see our 787 one more time before I had to head to passport control.
