unfairly demoted

hey i got demoted to grade one for to many violations i was flying at 280 knots and slowed to 250 under 10k feet and i still got demoted it was showing 245 on both speed indicators but i had a over speed warning i thought it was a bug could a admin revert the violations?
thanks!

Well Ground Speed and Airspeed would be showing very different speeds so I dont know how this was

Did you enter FL100 at 280knots then slow down to 250 below FL100

Also violations can not be removed so Unforntauntely you will have to wait a week for those to not be seen assuming you are on Expert

violations can not be eliminated, next time watch your speed indicator. a tip, I always go to less than 240 ktns :)

i was at 240 knots when i was descending below fl 100
and both air speed

From what I know, you have 20 second to decrease you speed to be below the speed limit to ensure you don’t get a Violation. That is in my opinion enough time to take action.

What was your callsign and Display Name? I can take a look for you if you can provide those.

I recommend slowing down to 240kts minimum before descending. That way you don’t have to worry about descending to below FL010 and the speed is stuck or is going up. :)

Violations actually can be removed if the reason for the violations was not the users fault.

Every violation is for a reason unless it’s a glitch which is very unlikely to happen.

Tip: take these over-speed warnings very serious.

Indeed. An over-speed warning can’t be a bug. Personally, I have never received a violation that was from a warning bug. The warnings have been working all the time and it’s impossible for a glitch to happen with them.

P.S. Usually, I get these warnings when I depart and I’m busy with something, and later I come back and I’m at 250+ kts KIAS below 10k ft, so I try to keep it slow and steady.

Which aircraft were you flying in?

I also. Got demoted for an over speed glitch the sound kept on going even when i went offline then when i come back i find 6 violations ☹️

I got demoted to Grade 1, I was doing a long haul flight and came back to the “Crash” screen with 6 violations

It could entirely be possible your speed was more than 250 knots for an extended period of time. Even though you were technically slowing down, it wasn’t quick enough. So by the time you did reach 250 knots, it was too late.

I’m pretty sure the overspeed violations system is based on a timer. If you’re overspeed and have exceeded the time limit, the system gives you 1 violation, and subsequent violations after every interval of time.

Something/someone caused your auto pilot to disconnect, causing your aircraft to nosedive. When you nosedive, obviously your speed is off the charts. So by the time you reached the ground and crashed, you’ve racked up 6 overspeed violations.

This is exactly what appears to have happened. You went from FL320 down to 49 feet in less than five minutes. Your ground speed at the time of the violations was well over 900 kts.

yeah it sucks, i was above 250 knots when i went under fl100
but i slowed down in time to avoid a violation, even if i was still overspeding it would be like one violation not like 5+

This isn’t unfair. It’s your fault.
