Unexplained touches

I have been experiencing certain weird movements while in flight. The camera views tend to zoom in and out randomly, the angles switch as well when i try to adjust. Certain times it becomes so inconvenient that i have to exit the flight and resume it later.

MacOS 15:

I’m slightly confused - the iPad doesn’t use MacOS…

Sorry IPad OS 18

I offloaded the app and reinstalled but the issue still persists

Try this:

  • Turn of Infinite Flight Connect (highly unlikely it’s the cause but possible in theory)
  • Turn ON “Show touches” in the settings. Then you’ll see if / where Infinite Flight is picking up touches on your display.
  • This have also been seen on dirty screens. Doesn’t need to look dirty, but there could be something triggering it on your display so cleaning it off might help.

The Flight connect was already off because i have not used that feature before. I figured it must have been an oil spill so i wiped the screen with a wet towel. It is fine when i start but starts occuring during flight cruise. Weird thing is that it doesnt occur when i am using the scenery editor.

Another thing to check that I’ve seen once. It doesn’t quite correspond to the symptoms you’re describing but one user managed to bind certain camera controls to an axis.

Go to Settings → Controls and try “Defaults”. Might be something going on in there.
