I would actually make it a Feature Request as hes requesting for Sound to be added. :)
I would love something that says “Warning! Warning! Overspeeding under 10,000 ft! Warning!” or something annoying like that to get my attention
I am thinking something just like that.
It is pretty anoying when i check my ipad when decending and it says you are grade2 when i just were grade4
An audible warning would definitely be helpful. Perhaps when you reach FL120, it will warn once, then at 110 it will sound more frequently…or something like that.
And if the A/P cant keep the speed it would maby be good to have some kind warning
If I could vote infinitely, I would. The amount of times where I wake up at 4am feeling super tired but begin my descent, and forget to change my speed to something under 250, while going under 10,000 is insane. I have gotten 15 violations because of this. Really wish this could be implemented into IF, you have my vote!
And it is one week wait to get the violations “away” and to get the grade back

Great idea. This has happened once or twice to me and would avoid the situation.
Yeah it would make things easier if there was that red strip with the beeping noise saying “Overspeed” when you cross 249 knots under 10,000ft.
You can download an app called IF Assistant - the copilot will audibly call out speed warning, don’t sink, glide slope etc.
There is an easy work around so you can avoid ever overspeeding under 10000. When you begin your descent, dont set it to an altitude below 10000. Set it to either 11000 or 12000. That way, when you get to that altitude, you will remember to slow down to 250, and you won’t get a violation.
