It does … try to not follow those rules IRL and see what happens :) Note that Grade != rank. Grade is more similar to a license level that you need to maintain (as it is in real life).
The system might not be perfect but we looked long and hard at actual data and those rules works great overall (at least much better than before). Not saying we won’t continue to improve, but for now it is working very well for a vast majority of users.
The sustem needs revision.
Some of you people have me face palming. There’s a certain way to go about getting your point across and bringing change. Being hostile and argumentative isn’t the way.
If I’m honest, this grade change is working perfectly, keeping nimrods like yourself from proper environments. You know… The type of people who complain about the realistic things, the system does not need revision, they have been working on this change for ages, it’s not a simple switcharo. I tried to be patient but you are arguing, so let me return the favor.
And to reiterate almost 80% of people’s comments.
It’s YOUR fault you got the violations, “pilot error” as @Maxmustang puts it. Decrease your VS and fly properly, how hard is that? If you need practice fly on the FF server or on Solo mode.
First of all, why did you get 5 violations?(not judging)You should be paying attention as a pilot to your speed. This is why we have grade 1-5, so we can keep people who are not paying attention during their flight(s) out of servers like the advanced server so the environment can be as realistic as possible for everyone.
I just think the grading step sucks because anybody can report people and that just knocks their grades down. I’ve been reported for just flying. No violations whatsoever just got reported because someone was bored.
The system was designed for experienced pilots that known how to fly. Playground is a training area to learn and get used to the ATC. it isn’t a training area to learn how to fly, this is why you have solo and free flight. Likewise, advanced isn’t a training area at all.
