Unable to see events on the calendar

Hey guys, I’ve noticed that with the new calendar for events, I can’t see any events. Not in Monthly, weekly, or daily. Anyone else noticed this?

I see what it is. For some reason, when viewing the calender from the Live > Events category, the events do not appear. However, if you click “Upcoming Events” in the sidebar, they are there. I hope that works for you too @Mort

Same. My guess is that it’s an issue on the part of Discourse? :exploding_head:

Discourse has been doing a lot of changes recently - wouldn’t shock me whatsoever if they broke stuff in the process :joy:

When did this issue start? There’s not been any deployments for a couple of days.

I noticed it a few days ago - didn’t think anything of it at the time though. Temporary glitches happen a lot.

Okay, so it could be coinciding with the deployment I did 5 days ago.
Cool.

I pushed another one a few moments ago too but no change, so I’ve alerted Discourse now.

So is this a known issue that’s going to get fixed or are we all going to have to start using Discord to find events? I think I’d rather have a root canal with no anesthesia before I use Discord :joy:. The UI is the most chaotic thing I’ve ever seen.

Seb said he alerted discourse, so hopefully it’ll be fixed soon. For me, if you click “Upcoming events” it shows them, but it only shows the calender.

It’s an issue on Discourse’s end. Not much we can do besides wait for them to have a look and address.

Just FYI

Hi Sebastian,

We’ve been trying to reproduce the issue on our test sites but haven’t had any luck so far. I’m not sure we’ll be able to resolve it quickly, but we’ll keep you updated.

In the meantime, your users can still access the Upcoming Events calendar on Infinite Flight Community, which continues to work as expected.
