Can only open a maximum of 4 FIRs when controlling. Used to be able to do more than that, at least 5 or 6 if I remember correctly.
I couldn’t even open the FIR that this airport was in, just the ones around it.
Desired result: be able to open all FIRs within a 400 nm radius of the airport.
Moreover, we can’t even choose which FIRs to open. Ar Zurich for example, we are not given the option to open Wien or Munich FIR which would be necessary if we want to fully cover the airport.
What’s even more odd is somehow you can control Anchorage FIR from airports like EGLL…which doesn’t make sense.
