Unable to Connect Ground Services

I just landed in Newark, New Jersey. I arrived at my gate, aligned with the jetway. Started my shutdown checks, which include turning my beacon lights off, shutting my engines down and enabling my parking brake. I also shut down my main battery (the aircraft is the 787-10). In an attempt to connect PAX, fuel, baggage, and ground power, I received a notification saying I have to turn the beacon lights off, the engines off, and enable my parking brake, which as I mentioned above, I did. This is very frustrating. I play on an IPad mini. Ground services have worked with me before. Any idea why it’s not working with me now? Happens at other airports as well.
