Ultra long haul flight

Recently I decided to do my next “longest flight I’ve ever done” and decided to embark on a long journey from Singapore to LA in the majestic A350-900 that they own.

Breaking my perfect sleep shedule for this ultra long haul flight starting at 3 in the morning

Making my way towards the runway

Waiting for the 777 to land

Lifting of the ground

Climbing to cruise where I will take my resting hours where the relief pilot will replace me until we are half way into hour flight so I can get some shut eye

Waking up just in time for my top of decent

Descending over the beautiful mountains

Final approach

Touching the ground after some brutal 20hrs of flying

Handing over the plane to the next crew for theyre next flight while I head towards the hotel to get some more rest since I didn’t get enough on the flight

Why did this flight take 20 hours?
It usually takes at around 15-16

Why did you land on 24L at LAX?

I believe 24L is mainly used for takeoffs along with 25R, whereas 25L and 24R are mainly landings. Correct me if I’m wrong

Just to switch things up a bit cause I almost always land on the same runway at an airport.

No it’s 25.1. I’m waiting for the official release rather than joining the beta.

I use open beta on my phone but reg on my iPad and I would wait for the official update and not update the open beta app 24/7
