Iran admits to ‘unintentionally’ shooting down Ukrainian airliner, blames ‘human error’
- It Is confirmed that the Boeing B737-800 airliner flight PS752 was shot down five minutes after takeoff from Tehran’s Imam Khomeini airport on Wednesday Jan. 8, just hours after Iran fired a barrage of missiles at U.S. targets in Iraq.
A statement from Iran’s military said it shot down the plane by accident after it got close to a military base.
