Two Device Support

Hey Guys,

I just tested something on training server ATC. I was using my iPhone for Ground Frequency and my iPad for Tower. It actually worked! Is this intended? Is this allowed as an IFATC? For some it might be senseless, for some others it might be pretty cool. I mean, it’s kinda nice to see both screens all the time and even separate the radios.

Did someone tried this before? I’m thrilled for your answers.

Greetings from Germany!

Yeah I’ve done this before!
When I’m hosting group flights and we don’t have atc I go on atc on another device and clear everyone to land

I’ve never tried this before, but I think it would be more efficient if you had both frequencies on the same screen; especially when it gets busy on the expert server it can be a slight hindrance going back and forth between both devices to respond to pilots.

Yes you are able, not sure if it is allowed for IFATC dont thing anyone knew about it but would be a interesting idea for people to be able to open 2 different airports…

Has anyone done 3 airports and is it possible

That’s been tested and it’s not possible (at least on ES)

Actually it is possible, but sometimes it will put you into observer mode, it is not allowed in IFATC because it is something that would degrade your quality of service. What does work is if your flying on the TS, you can open ATC on another device while flying. But IFATC are not allowed to do this.
