Hi everyone, has anyone else experienced another controller joining the same frequency while you’re already controlling it? (Training Server)
This has happened to me on Tower or Ground, with both of us logged into the same frequency at the same airport simultaneously.
Is this a known issue or bug, and does anyone know what causes it or how to resolve it?
Unfortunately on the training server, there is no way for controllers to properly communicate, so frequencies do often get occupied by two controllers. It’s a bug.
That’s a bug that anyone can face every now and then. The best solve it is to leave the frequency
Yes it happened with me also. And I was like, "how is he taxiing without my permission “and also saying"Wilco” 
No, that is normal. On the expert server is the same, controllers ask if they can join a other one and control together
I believe he means the same frequency and blocking out one of the controllers. Not splitting a position
It happened to me yesterday lol at LHR when another person and me were Ground lol
Is it even possible on training server splitting positions?
It isn’t possible on training because there is only one frequency available for each position. On expert we have multiple. (Eg. Heathrow and Atlanta have 3 or 4 towers each)
On training server sometimes you will be controlling, then suddenly you hear another controller controlling the same frequency you are on.
Yeah it happens when the page to enter doesn’t refresh , so it shows as open for another controller. Which causes 2 controllers on the same frequency and messes things up 
.
Best thing to do is close as that will usually lose the connection for the other controller too.
