Osaka has been one of my bucket list spotting locations for a long time, and after seeing @AndrewWu’s photos from this airport, I decided to get creative and copy his shots exactly, except for my conditions, I had to utilize a Canon DSLR crop sensor in low light (the two don’t go well).
After taking 45 minutes of trains from Kyoto and a 20 minute walk from the station, I reached the Senri River Bank near the threshold of runway 32L. Nonetheless, the angles and backdrop make Osaka Itami one of the most beautiful and artistic places for plane spotting. I decided to go a bit heavier on the editing after the sun set. hopefully you don’t get tired of purple :).
