TWA Hotel Rooftop Spotting

Hey everyone!

Last night I did some sunset spotting at the rooftop/pool deck. Enjoy!

3 beautiful planes! The top is the incredible looking e190 in the blueberries! Last one I think besides Christine… landed from Boston at 6:50pm, headed back out on Saturday at 8am. Second one is n3152j, in from Jacksonville, headed out to Buffalo.
Finally, in front is n636JB in from Atlanta (I met the pilot for that one :D. I actually flew on that EXACT same aircraft in 2023!!

And finally, on the way out, I stopped and chatted with some pilots. The first was the jetblue one, who had to run pretty quickly. The next was two delta pilots who gave me some trading cards. Then, American a319/20/21 pilots who came in from sfo, who gave me wings 🤡, and finally, two delta a321neo pilots who came in from Vegas. Here’s my cards lol.

No, those are my only ones (plus a321neo I took off screen lol)

Yeah it’s cool, I live right here at jfk so every other weekend I go spotting; against the fence, on the roof, or wherever

So no tour I just ran up for free

Man I really want to get some. The next time I’m going on a plane is to Madrid but that’s with school so probably no cockpit tour + trading card for me.

A new item added to my bucket list: visiting the TWA hotel.
