Hi! introducing my name is Putu Brandon and you can call me Brandon or Putu, I come from Bali. I would love to start my journey for ATC. I will open several airports and I will announce them here. I hope you can come and give me some feedback. Thank you:)

Feedback OK-GAS :

First Incoming Pattern :

  • Should give Downwind instead of base pattern
  • no need to re-entry straight in (allready give pattern entry above)
  • as this is my 1st inbound should add “Make Right / Left Traffic” for Clearance option
  • VT-BSC Req rwy Chance to 25L At this poin Should give Re-Entry instead of Give Clearance direcly
  • VT-BSC Landed at wrong rwy should give warning
  • There is Incoming Conflict at rwy 25R because VT-BSC Crossing rwy at the same time Batik 140 is Taking off (RIP)

Second Pattern:

  • No Clearance causing G/A
  • Already Report Position for caution at DW and Final

Third Pattern :

  • Pattern Entry was good for Req Chance rwy to 25L
  • Again No Clearance causing G/A
  • Already Report Position for caution at Base and Final

VT-VED
Took off from 25R, asked for transition. 3000ft right transition.

  • Asked for t&g on 25L, directly got cleared without entry. (aircrafts inbound and not already in pattern must get a pattern entry, while aircrafts remaining in pattern a direction with t/o clearance)
  • when I asked for rwy change, I did get pattern entry but didnt receive clearance so had to go around.
    All the best! You will ace it in no time ;)

SessionFeedback from UR-GHH

Transition

  • Transition at 3000 GOOD

3000 was perfect because transition altitude rounds up.
2500 could also be okay in this case.

Inbound

  • I issued “Inbound for landing”, not “Inbound for touch and go”

So the proper clearance was just “cleared to land”.

Also, if I was inbound touch and go, the clearance must have been directional.(like make right traffic)

Ground
Looks like D&T should be given after vacating the runway to avoid unnecessary taxi instructions (I didn’t know this, sorry)

1st pattern

  • Failure in G/A (though in this case PK-KIA entered 25R illegally, you should pay attention to any potential conflicts)

2nd pattern

  • Pattern entry for runway change GOOD

  • No clearance. You need to give a new clearance after a runway change.
    I’ve reported you my position “on final” twice to let you know I wasn’t cleared yet.

Tip: If an aircraft is already cleared, the callsign on the map is shown green (unless assigned a color), and if it’s not cleared yet, the name is shown white.

3rd pattern

  • Good runway change management
  • Non-directional clearance

You need to give a directional clearance every time after a pattern entry. In this session, the 2nd pattern and the 3rd pattern required directional clearances.

  • In your pattern entry to Indonesia 574, you needed to give him a sequence because I was ahead of him on 25R.

“Enter straight in runway 25R number 2 traffic to follow is on final” to Indonesia 574 was proper there.

  • I’m in pattern work,so you should give me clear for the option,but you gave me clear to land…that’s wrong…
  • When OK-MAS request runway change,you should give him pattern entry with seq…

FEEDBACK FROM OK-MAS

-When you give me pattern entry for change runway, its fine, but after that no cleared give to me until i reported on final.

  • when you give going around, and there is a plane that wants to take-off on the same runway, you can cancel the plane’s take-off to avoid conflict in the air
  • when change runway, Give a pattern entry and sequence, when there is an inbound plane on the same runway
  • you give me clear to land when i not report to full stop
