Today I am coming online again at EDDH to make it more difficult because the runways are not parallel and the two runway are crossing themselves. So I can’t just clear planes without being sure that other traffic departs in time or lands.
EDDH/Tower+Ground/2100UTC-2300
What I want to practice: Sequencing, RWY change, timing, progressive taxi instructions
PS: Maybe I will come earlier online. Thanks for the support of you I really appreciate that
We see us in Hamburg

Feedback From OK-OMER
•Transition should have been 4.000 ft.
•Not given exit runway.
•Unnecessary traffic direction for 2nd pattern.
•I dont know airport have drag and taxi or no but I requested parking to gate and given “ taxi to parking at your discretion “ if airport have drag and taxi you should use this feature.
good work with pattern entry and sequences.
Thanks for the service.Good luck

I was confused how to find the stand you and other pilots requested. So I sensed taxi to parking. At the end I found out I just didn’t zoom in enough. Thank you for your feedback. I hope I can see you in the next days again

Hello call sign N1CH
During the Pettern work i found some mistakes than i want you to improve on
Tower:
First of all good work with the sequences

That was awesome.
The first mistake i saw you doing was issuing the Pattern Entry with every clearance when a plane is already in the Pattern
.
Since you already told the plane whice direction for the pattern the pilot knows whice direction to go so no need to give it with the clearance.
When a plane is inbound you give it pattern entry-sequences- clearance this is important.
For Example
A plane is inbound for Touch and Go = pattern work
As a controler you need to make sure that all planes know who they are following at all times via sequences
First issues PE to the inbound plane with the sequence than clearance with pattern direction as he is joining the pattern work.
Thanks for your service

Thank you for showing up and the feedback. So when I understand it correctly when I clear a plane and give the pattern entry with the clearance I don’t have to give the PE again only the clearance. I think I gave every inbound aircraft a PE. Exit runway I had fully forgotten. And sometimes I had to make spacing between airplanes but I was to slow, I need to train where I can find all the commands. When I give the instruction extend downwind I will call your base, do I must call base or can I just clear them.
I hope we will see us again
Still, thanks for showing up

The best thing you can do is first give the turn base command and then clear them to avoid all confusion. To prevent this you can sequence and clear all aircraft early in the pattern. Let’s say in the crosswind turn, beginning of downwind.
Also avoid overcontrolling. VFR traffic has to see and avoid. As you said, use the turn base command instead of the pattern entry command " enter (left/right) base.
