Hey everyone!

Join us for this week’s Turbulent Tuesday Casual Server Event:
Good Luck at Lukla

Today, we head to a new area that should be challenging for many as well as fun and entertaining. Spawning at VNLK (Lukla), fly to VNPL for a touch and go, then proceed to VNRT for another touch and go. After completing those, then fly the same route back, with a touch and go at VNPL again and full stop at Lukla. The challenger will be to NOT exceed 10,500 ft MSL. Also turn off “Airport Names” in Settings for this event. No cheating on locating the fields. This is a test for pilot skills, airmanship. Only assistance is the map. Are you up for the challenge? This is a Cessna 208 event ONLY!

Would be even more fun with a sloped runway, but I guess I can try diving straight down the cliff to the runway.

Does anyone know if Lukla has a hospital for simulated humans?

No, if you get injured there in real life you have to be airlifted out, hence the airport.

How are we supposed to TnG, do a vertical departure? Bank? Not really sure how…

Even more of a challenge of finding the airport if you fly with your camera view at HUD 1. Though that would technically be cheating when landing.
