Hello everyone I fly the a380 and sometimes I pass through winds over 98knots without experiencing turbulence I really what to see how it feels like please what do I do or which route do I fly to especially wing turbulence how do I experience that thanks
It’s hard to say what route will give you turbulence. Any patch of air could have turbulence at any time. Generally, mountain airports (like Denver) are going to be bumpier than average on takeoff & landing, but that’s not a given. Probably the most surefire way to get turbulence is to find a thunderstorm to fly through. It’s going to be a little more difficult with the A380 to find turbulence that has an impact, simply because of how large of an aircraft it is (and thus more resistant to rough air).
Oh ok thought as much because it is a large aircraft
If you want to have some rough turbulence the best option is flying near/over japan since they have the roughest winds monitored over there. Denver is another good option, and Flying over the atlantic will definitely give some good turbulence
I flew to Tokyo from Dubai and yes approaching Hong Kong the wind was really hard but due to the a380 I didn’t see any significant turbulence or wing turbulence
That’s not the a380 doing that the route path avoiding the wind
A380 has a less notice shake than A350 or smaller vehicle ;C
