It was made during the same time period. And the Russian passenger planes from the cold war were absolute…well…i’m not gonna say it.

747-200 is obsolete.

The 747-200 was at least a GOOD plane.
There were over 200 Tu 104 produced. For a really early plane.

Having never flown on one, how could you even make such a claim?
This bird would be fantastic - second jet airliner in the world to enter regular commercial service, carrying over 90 million passengers over its career and spawning one of the earliest turbofan-powered airliners (the Tu-124 was developed from it)
