Trying to log in to my new IFC Email but doesn't work


Hello, I am trying to log on to IF so I can get a subscription, but doesn’t allow me to log on. I changed my IFC Email today, but it still says no account found in system. It would be great if you could help me. Thanks!

Hello! Just to clear something up, your email connected to your IFC account has no connection with your email in the app. So you are trying to login in the app with a new email?

Passing this on to the community as I actually need to sleep (i know, shocking for some of you!)

Summary of the issue:

  • Unable to purchase subscription
  • User getting “Purchase failed” error
  • iOS
  • No purchase restrictions set in iTunes
  • No Family Sharing
  • In-app purchase otherwise possible
  • Signed out/in to the Apple-ID but no change.

Who can figure it out? There’s cookies for the one who can.

Firstly, maybe there is an issue with your credit card you are trying to use?

I rejected that idea initially as it would display a different error. At least it should… Consistency isn’t Apples thing always :)

Can’t you not make an account until you have purchased a subscription?

There is an account already tied up to an email he does not wish to use. But that’s irrelevant in this case, as the purchase fails regardless.

I tried both of those. I am still troubleshooting as well.

What message are you receiving exactly when the purchase fails?

Just to clarify, have you tried the following yet:
Tap Settings > iTunes and App Stores > Apple ID > View Apple ID enter your Apple ID and password then tap OK. View ‘Payment Information’ and make sure that payment account information is correct and up to date. Enter your security code and expiration date.

We’ve had him switch payment methods already.

OK, I probably would try contacting the Apple Store Support then. This sounds like an issue with Apple and not IF.

How many Credit Cards is your account associated with? Sometimes it won’t let you make purchases if you have too many.

Just one credit card.
