Iāll try and solve a few points brought up in this thread.
@nickchan - when youāre flying in Live, youāre flying as part of a community of people all over the world, each with different levels of experience and different skill sets. Live has been built to be as realistic as possible with features such as ATC, but built in a way so that it is āaccessibleā to as many people as possible (via different servers, community help pages, etc.).
It isnāt a place to hold personal grudges against people. If you have a problem with how a person is controlling, donāt jam the frequency. All youāre doing is ruining the experience for yourself and for others around you. It is an immature and quite frankly, ridiculous solution.
Also, bear in mind there are people of all skill levels playing. Donāt call people āidiotsā based on their skills or if they arenāt acting how you would like (especially on the playground server); they are most likely learning, and anything they do wrong isnāt done just to annoy you.
That being said, here some ways you can deal with controllers if you have an issue:
- Take a screenshot of the controllerās name and of the transcript (log) and create a thread on this forum. The community can help establish the issue, and help you and the controller learn from this mistake.
- Politely private message the controller in question.
- Message an ATC recruiter if the issue is on the Advanced Server (people such as Tyler, Joe, Tristanā¦).
Live is, in my opinion, an awesome feature of Infinite Flight - donāt ruin it for everyone :)
To other members; the mod team understands that Nick hasn't exactly been the best representative of this community in the past. He has been given another chance. As with all members who have received a suspension, we are keeping an eye on him to make sure he is integrating himself properly once again within this community.
Everyone in this community is constantly learning, and I enjoy seeing regular members offer advice to the rest of the community and helping keep this place tidy :)
As always, if there are any issues with any post on this forum, flag the post, donāt tag us. We will deal with it appropriately.

For how long has this problem with this guy been going?
If I get bad instructions from ATC I just ignore it and carry on. If the guy is requesting you to change frequency etc he is atleast doing what he thinks is right and hopefully will be a bit embarrassed when he eventually realises that heās been controlling wrong the whole time.
To be honest if I was on that frequency I would have reported you no matter how bad the atc was. The same message repeating over and over again is incredibly annoying.

Same here:) And spamming a frequency on the advanced server would result in ghostingā¦ just saying.
