TripReport Southwest Airlines!

Hey guys, I just wanted to upload some pics of my first Southwest flight I took that was 6 days ago.

Before I post them, my first time on Southwest was a positive experience and I would fly them again in the future!

Route was Houston Hobby (HOU) - Oakland (OAK)
Date: July 25, 2023
Flight number: WN784
Aircraft/Livery: Southwest 737-700

2 gates over from my gate, I got to see my first Southwest state livery, which was Tennessee one.

Here I’m boarding my aircraft taking me to Oakland which was N7823A.

This was our departure from Houston.

We got served these snacks shortly after getting to cruising altitude, to say the least they did not disappoint.

Here we flew pretty close to Los Angeles.

Here I was messing around with the website and checking out our route we took.

After landing and a speedy taxi, I got to see the cockpit for the first time.

The First Officer gave me this, which I was really happy about.

All in all I really enjoyed this flight. Southwest has really nice crew which made the flight even better. Next time I need to fly domestic in the US I will definitely book southwest if the prices are right.

I actually got it before the flight, just happened to be the last picture. So basically I went up to the gate agent before boarding and asked to help with pre-flight he said “negative” which made me a little sad and then I think he saw I was a bit sad and so he called me back up and pulled out that paper and told me to read it after he saw I can read it and understand it, he called the first officer and he came and we had a little chat. Then after our chat he gave me the paper and said I can visit the cockpit after landing or before takeoff but I decided to go after landing so I can get a window seat :)
