Hello and good afternoon from passport control 
here at Humberto Delgado International Airport in Lisbon, PRT 
We have just arrived from Madrid, ESP 
on their Airbus A321neo LR and now we will be connecting to our next flight home to Miami, FL 
on their Airbus A330-900neo in economy class. I’m very glad you’re joining me on this flight. After clearing passport control leaving the Schengen Area, we were brought into the international departures hall at LIS which houses all of their all international non-Schengen flights to countries like the United States 
Canada 
Brazil 
and I spotted a flight to Mozambique 
which is very cool. Like with most U.S. departures from a variety of countries, to enter the gate holding area, we needed to conduct another security check. Since once you go in, you’re trapped, we decided to not go until the very last minutes before boarding began to grab a bite to eat before we leave.

Our ride back to the 305
this evening will be CS-TUG, a 7 year old Airbus A330-900neo delivered to TAP Air Portugal in March 2019.
Boarding commenced soon after but like I said, we stood clear from the gate holding area as it’s very small. And like every single flight on this trip, everybody was just lining up randomly which made everything worse
TAPs A330-900neos all have the same configuration which I already covered in my MIA - LIS so I won’t be going into specifics all over again
I’m seated in seat 25A for this flight back home, it’s the same seat as the A321LR along with the same amenities. This is however the long haul flight so a pillow and blanket were provided. I however was not planning on sleeping on this flight so those items would be useless for me. No matter what, I was going to find at least some way to keep me entertained. Besides that, the seat itself is the same one I was in previously, even today which will be good enough for the 8 hours to Miami I’ve been going on this trip with my family of 4 and for the most part, we’ve sat together because of the sheer luck of randomized seat selection. Unfortunately, this flight was the worst offender as we were put in the middle of the cabin initially. I however ended up moving a few rows back to secure the window seat because I aim to get content out of this flight and a middle seat would just do no good for me. Besides, it’s only 8 hours so I’d be like a school day essentially. Soon enough the boarding doors closed, we watched the same safety video and made our way to LISs RWY 03 for take off!

After a beautiful departure from Lisbon and leaving the coast of Europe behind, we reached our cruising altitude of 36,000ft over the Atlantic Ocean
and that’s what we’d be seeing for the most part on this flight
Soon afterwards the crew before the main meal service passed out the same chocolates
that I had previously which were just as good as they were just a few hours ago. Anyways, for dinner I chose the 4 cheese lunette pasta along with a creamy basil sauce. On the side was a salad 
with couscous and vegetables, rice pudding for dessert. A bread roll with butter, crackers and a beverage of choice were also available which I chose a Coke. All in all, a very fantastic meal service and I’m glad I chose it. I wanted the chicken 
initially as I already had a pasta meal on the way here but I looked at the menu inflight and saw that the pasta ultimately was the better option. My seat neighbor ordered the chicken and even told me he should’ve ordered the pasta instead. Well in his mind, he was correct, EVERYTHING was amazing even the salad although I still didn’t eat it all. I like salads very basic and when I say that, I mean literally just lettuce 
and maybe 1 or 2 extra vegetables not a lot more like there was with this meal. But besides that, I really liked this meal so TAP has definitely got you for inflight food. After the meal service concluded, we were served an additional beverage but mostly either coffee 
or tea 
which I chose the former with some sugar. Definitely a plus for my mission to stay up for the whole 8 hour flight
At this point the crew had also instructed us to close the window blinds so let’s see what the inflight entertainment has to offer. It was the exact same as the previous flight which is good because I NEED to be entertained as like I said, I’m not sleeping on this flight. Something missing however is live TV, which I don’t expect over the ocean being honest but it still would’ve been nice to have, especially with the 2026 FIFA World Cup going on. On the previous flight, I noticed that Friends was available on demand so I decided to watch every episode they had available. Doing the math, that would cost me a little over half the flight.
Sure enough, by the time I was on the last episode available, we reached the halfway point of the flight. At this point, the sun had almost fully gone down and it’ll be darkness but inside and outside until we see the bright lights of Miami In the meantime, the crew also gave us cups of water if we wanted which is fantastic as the #1 rule to surviving long haul flights is to stay hydrated
After that, I decided to check out the music section of the IFE. An area that I don’t think is as popular but TAP does offer a good selection with me even noticing Colombian stars like J Balvin, Ryan Castro and KAROL G being featured. I decided to pop on a few tracks for the time being before either we can look outside again or the pre landing service begins. Well, not really, I soon decided to watch Joey instead for the remainder of the flight.
Eventually, after hours of darkness, the crew finally turned on the lights to serve the pre landing snack an hour and a half prior to landing. We were served a ham and cheese sandwich
once again although this time the sandwich came with spinach and we were served apple slices on the side instead. Another beverage of your choice was provided as well and I went with another Coke. Overall, an okay meal, not anything great but not terrible. However I will say it tasted A LOT better than the one I was served on my MIA - LIS flight almost 2 weeks ago.
Soon enough, we caught sight of the Bahamas
meaning it was time to begin the approach into Miami we would continue our eastward trek towards West Palm Beach 
before flying along majority of the coast until Sunny Isles Beach/Aventura where we will make a left downwind turn over Hialeah before making a 180 downwind-base-final turn over the Everglades 
and coming to land on MIAs RWY 09
Down below is our first glimpse of the 305 and it’s looking MAGICAL 
on this fine night, definitely an amazing way to be brought back home

and people 
TOUCHDOWN! Welcome back to Miami, FL
and the end of probably the most epic irl trip I’ll take for at least 5 years. Man the amount of airports and airlines I got to check out for you guys is insane, never thought I’d be able to do this in my lifetime, especially 18 years old and fresh out of high school. Anyways, TAP Air Portugal provided a really good onboard product for us in both the hard and soft product department. The crew were amazing, the seats were comfortable, the food was great and the IFE was sufficient and most importantly, didn’t crash on me. Overall, I have very little complaints about TAP and if you find a good deal, they may just be the airline for you!
Welcome back to Miami International Airport’s south terminal concourse J. We parked at gate J16 once again which doesn’t provide any view of the aircraft so I’ll just show you the hallway leading to passport control
That will be our next destination which didn’t take long at all. I mean it is almost midnight and there aren’t really any other international arrivals apart from our flight and an Air France flight. Also for us citizens, we only had to do a simple face scan, no passports required. Once we were cleared back into the US it was off to baggage claim 
which definitely took some time but not terribly long. After that, we simply waited for our grandfather to come pick us up from the departures level to make our way back home to relax and not go anywhere, for at least, 3 years
