Today I had a chance to fly on the airline notorious mainly for its bad landings, Ryanair! I have been very excited about this flight for months because I wanted to see if the all the bad things about this airline are actually true. Here is a full flight review of my experience on Ryanair from Barcelona to Trieste.
The journey began fairly smoothly with an expected on time departure. Boarding process also went very smooth and soon enough, I was on board!
For this flight, I was sitting in seat 3F. The seats had ample legroom however there was no recline. The seat in general also wasn’t the most comfortable however it is what you would normally expect on a low cost carrier.
We pushed back right on time and shortly after began a 10 minute taxi to the other end of BCN. After a few minutes of waiting in the takeoff queue, we were airborne!
A little less than halfway through the flight, the cabin crew began to start service. There was a large variety of recognizable drinks and snacks however I decided not to get anything.
The restroom was a normal restroom like any other you would find on an aircraft. One thing that was really frustrating was that the toilet seat would not stay up.
The Landing…
Perhaps the one thing that Ryanair is most well known for is their hard landings. Our arrival into Trieste was fairly bumpy with a few drops here and there. Here is a link of our landing so you guys can decide how the landing really was.
In my opinion, the landing was somewhat harder than a normal landing however I believe there were some winds which could’ve played a factor into amfhe more firm landing.
