Trim Question

I was just wondering what this purple line is next to the trim? What’s it’s purpose?

It’s shows you how much trim you should apply

Hi, the idea is that during your flight you trim up or down so that the purple line disappears

When correctly trimmed during a cruise the aircraft maintains level flight when you release the control stick / yoke (with AP disconnected)

You would add positive trim when taking off so the aircraft wants to climb naturally with minimal input effort required by the pilot

If the line is going down, you need more positive trim. If the line is going up, you need more negative trim.
