Noob here. Just to clarify, do routes A-D only run west from Europe while W-Z run east from North America? If so that would explain why it was trying to make me fly to Point SIVIR (The furthest east point on route D 2/6/22) before being able to use the route, because I think the LNAV was assuming I was trying to travel west.

Yea you are right. You can also see this as the name of the route indicates where it started from
