In the past few days, Delhi has experienced extreme rain: the most rain that the airport has seen since 1936. There was flooding all over the city, but the airport was hit especially hard. At 5 in the morning, “the roof in the roadway by the domestic departures are collapsed, leading to at least one fatality, and at least eight injuries”, according to Ben Schlappig.
My thoughts and condolences go out to those affected in the airport, and the 35 million people living in Delhi. 😔🙏
