Toronto to São Paulo (Air Canada A321)

Once in a while, I have this knack of wanting to fly long hauls on narrow bodies. Here’s a few 📸 from my recently concluded overnighter on Air Canada’s A321 ✈️

The A321 can fly as long as 13hrs but that would be taking it to its absolute limit haha. Cheers 🙌🏼

You gotta give flying longs hauls on the A321’s a go if you haven’t yet! That Parallel departure shot was defo my pick out of this bunch too 😄

How do you fly an A321 this far lol

Step Climb is the way to go! Start off low and then progressively climb the lighter you get. I did FL310 > FL330 > FL370

Gotta experiment around lol…Step Climb should always be your first resort

Info brought to you by me (maybe)

Fun fact: A321 fuel burns are, within reason, altitude independent. You can’t go FL410 at 100% but at like 50% anything from like 280 to 370 is pretty similar burn.

I’m ngl, I completely forgot about your fuel burn topic you made for the entire fleet lol. I just based that off someone else I knew who had completed a 13hr flight a couple of days ago. Plus, that’s a very cool fact to know 💯
