Hello IFC!
Welcome to my ATC Tracking Thread, I will be beginning my journey towards IFATC and I will be looking towards your feedback to further improve my skills and look at areas of need.
Status: OPEN Airport: YBBN - Brisbane International Time:2021-11-10T05:30:00Z → 2021-11-10T06:15:00Z Runway in use: 01R/L Area of Focus: Transition and Traffic Patterns Notes: Server: Training
[05:58:43] - Transition was good at 3000ft with airport elevation at 15ft. But 2500ft would’ve been good as well.
[06:01:21] + [06:01:32] - Good pattern entry of Right downwind considering I was on the right side of the airport. Clearance was good as well with a make right traffic I was inbound.
[Local/Tower | 01R]
[06:07:50] - Good job on handling the runway change to 01L with a pattern entry of left downwind, remember there will be sometimes a conflict on upwind for 01L, so what you would need to do is give an Extend upwind, I will call your crosswind to the pilot requesting a change, once both aircraft have separation, issue a pattern entry and sequence for the pilot that requested a change then a clearance for the option with a make left or right traffic.
[06:08:08] - Good clearance again with a make left traffic as I changed runways.
[Tips from me]
For Remaining in the pattern aircraft
Sequence the aircraft if needed.
Clearance for the option.
For Inbound
Pattern Instruction + Sequence the aircraft if needed.
Clearance for the option if Touch and Go + Make xx traffic. If Landing, Cleared for Landing.
For Runway Changes
Extend upwind if there is a conflict parallel to the aircraft requesting the change.
Pattern Instruction + Sequence the aircraft if needed.
Clearance for the option if Touch and Go + Make xx traffic. If Landing, Cleared for Landing.
Note: Make sure to re-sequence aircraft if needed to.
For Go Around
Make xx traffic.
Pattern Instruction + Sequence the aircraft if needed.
Clearance for the option if Touch and Go. If Landing, Cleared for Landing.
For Transitions
Airport Elevation + 2500ft
Thanks for having me and great job, tag me when you open next time please! :)
