I have never looked at, interacted and im pretty sure I have not been tagged in any of these topics. However more and more keep showing up and they are automatically turned onto tracking. How can I stop this?

You don't deserve an answer for using light mode.
Go to your profile → preferences → tracking → auto-track topics I enter → set to never.
