I know I sent a DM to you about this yesterday but congrats on this and by the way nice photo, I love the afterburners in the night sky. Being in the Air Force was a dream for me but has unfortunately been crushed due to health reasons (I have a nut allergy but it isnā€™t anaphylactic so I should be good to enter). Iā€™m thinking of going into other industries or professions.

Yeah because itā€™ll be bad if someone has an allergic reaction before being needed to get deployed. But mine isnā€™t life threatening but I think it will make me not eligible to apply but Iā€™ll have to research into that (and possibly do a bit of convincing to recruiters šŸ˜‚). The thing is food allergies are more common nowadays and with the ever growing risk of a major conflict I think the requirements will need to be lowered. Itā€™s still made me sad though as I would love to have done that but I guess I canā€™t have everything.

Donā€™t worry, i donā€™t think youā€™re going to be disqualified for this. I understand your fear,me too as a future astronaut, iā€™m afraid of the selection and all the health stuff. Thatā€™s why iā€™m trying my best to do sport, eating healthyā€¦

The thing is I already do a lot of sport and I like to do exercise when I get home so being fit isnā€™t a problem for me itā€™s just if I am eligible to apply. Good luck with your training for being an astronaut.
