Tokyo - Los Angeles in a Challenger 350 (Record)

9 hour 20 minute flight, flying 5024 nautical miles, beating what my previous record that couldn’t last 48 hours apparently.

Started in Narita, Japan

Ocean.

First sight of land, passing San Francisco, where my last record took place

Runway 34L landing. Rare for Van Nuys, never landed this way before

Successful first ever 5000nm+ flight in Infinite Flight

I tried replicating what planes look like from my view whenever flying to and from Van Nuys

Here’s a clear line, than last time, detailing my route (and yes, those are around 100 speed warnings)

Overall, fun experiments. Didn’t think it would actually work, but it instead now makes me want to try 5,100 nautical miles. Hope you like the photos

Just another reason why we need the Challenger 350’s big brother the Global 7500 in IF

I actually have a theory. Someone in my previous post said that Laura’s fleet might include the 7500. So far I have 3 guesses:
Bombardier Global 7500
Boeing 737 max 10
F-14

From what I’ve seen, the icons show a private jet, a fighter jet, and a single isle commercial jet. The private jet comes up as a Challenger 350, while the commercial jet comes up as a 737 max 8. The fighter is more tricky considering its set as the F-18, however the F-14 is a popular vote. So its speculation, but if all 3 are correct, cool, if not, also probably cool.

If it’s a fighter jet i’d rather have the F-16

I’m looking, and I see no trail of the F-16 in Infinite Flight when I thought it was. Maybe it is then

The F-16 and F-14 are both Legacy Planes but are in Infinite Flight, right down the bottom of the plane list.

Oh, I didn’t notice, thanks

The F-14, F-16 and F-22 all need reworks, how can we have just the F/A 18 and the A-10? It seems ridiculous to more than half of the fighters legacy.

I, as some might tell, rarely use the fighters for flights, but it would still be cool to see diversity in the options
