To butter, or not to butter

Hello everyone!

After a few weeks of not spotting, I am back at LAX and trying a new spot for me that looks right at the touchdown zone for the south side of the airport.

Enjoy the photos!

United 787-9 from Newark

JetBlue A321 from Miami

He’s behind me, isn’t he

United 757-300 from Chicago

A380 landings on this side are very rare

United 737-MAX8 from Boston

Sun Country landing in a not so sunny place

Delta A350-900 from Atlanta

Didn’t you make like a… Plane Spotting video? Or was that someone else?

I will be making a spotting video, it’s in the works ;)

That’s amazing! Are you gonna post it on YouTube?

It will be on YouTube, but I will post a link to it on the event page when I upload it

I will definitely take a look at it!

Did you get my departure, by any chance? My callsign was “Alaska 1098”.

I got all departures, so you will be featured

Yay! That’s awesome!

Amazing shots!

Crazy story here, I flew on my first A320 and went into LAX for the first time in February!!

Somehow I’ve unluckily avoided both, always flying into SNA, BUR, or VNY, and always flying on a 737 somehow. I even flew on an A330 before I flew on an A320 💀.

I sense copyright lol

If this were the Max 8, the door wouldn’t be missing lol it’s a Max 9 :p

I even looked up the registration beforehand and still put -8 🤦‍♂️

Thanks!

I think it’s an A321-200 judging by the engines. Nice pictures, my favourite is the Delta A350 from Atlanta. The Delta livery suits the A350 so nicely in my opinion and the tire smoke adds to a nice touch, nicely timed @Butter575

Regardless, a great looking plane.

I can’t wait to see you struggle with identifying the difference between the Max 9 and Max 10 😆

Very exciting 😑
