I like using the HUD as I can see more things but I also want to disable it and get the real feeling.
So if anyone has any suggestions or tips please let me know as I’d like to try them out.

Quick question-you mean no hud VIEW or just no HUD flat?
Cus if u mean no HUD view you can still use this button to enable a hud inside your cockpit.
do you fly on a tablet or a phone?
I used to use the HUD for every flight that i did. But i saw that a lot of other people used only the instruments in the cockpit. So i had just turned it off and i was surprised with how fast i got used to having no HUD. I zoomed in slightly just so i didn’t have to look down at the instruments so far though that definetly did help with the change.
I just make the map visible since I can’t view it on my instruments.
the HUD is rather useful specially for those aircraft that doesn’t have an animated cockpits, but if you must really want to not use HUD for the realistic feeling, just don’t pull back on the yoke that hard during take off and landing, in a animated cockpit you should see it maybe don’t let it pass the first huge line thingy and you should have a smooth take off, during landing on the other hand same principle but adjust it a bit for the flare, that’s what I personally do when I’m dealing with aircrafts with an animated cockpit don’t know if this will also apply with you but for me it works like magic haha
Here is my suggestion maybe try pc flight simulations. With mobile devices you can’t see the live instruments properly and the outside of the aircraft at the same time. The way the cocpit cameras sit don’t really give you a great view of both live instruments and outside elements. For example you cant really tell if you are on glide slope or what your pitch is at while trying land. In order to see the instruments properly you would have to fully zoom or get a monitor size tablet. You could try and set up a few free cams around the cockpit and find which view angle works for you. But even then you still can’t see the instruments without fully zooming in.
iPad/Tablet
ig just practice, on first your landings may not be as good as u would want them to be, but eventually you will get the feeling
zooming in a bit on the instruments and listening to the callouts really helped me
