Tips New Player

Hi everyone. My name is Rain. I want to ask for your opinion. Before my question, I want to tell you a little background about myself.

In June 2025, it was the first time I discovered Infinite Flight. Initially, I had a big dilemma whether to play IF or RFS. But after trying both games, my choice was IF because the physics from cold and dark at the gate and back to cold and dark after landing is so immersive for me. I don’t have a PC so forget about PC games. For now, I have not bought the Pro Version because of my limited cashflow. I am interested in becoming a Streamer for Infinite Flight.

My Equipment to start are:

  • Android Phone (of course)
  • Mic clip-on
  • Second phone for camera
  • And the apps are IF, Infinite Passenger, and Metar apps

So, my questions are:

  • Should I buy the pro version first to start my content?
  • If Infinite Passengers sometimes has trouble with sounds not playing properly, so I have to change apps from IF to Infinite Passengers and then back again to fix the sound, are there any apps for IF to make more realistic sound?
  • Are there any tips to calculate V1, VR, Vstall automatically? Because I have to calculate this manually every time I want to fly.

Thanks for the response and your time to read my topic. Have a nice day and Flight buddy :slightly_smiling_face:

I’ll answer this one first, since I’m not a content creator. I’ve never heard of Infinite Passengers, but I use Infinite Assistant which is a app where you do have to pay, but it provides you with safety briefings all that + V1 call-outs.

Wishing you a great time in the skies,

Welcome to the Community!

Have a go with the free version - there are quite a number of route options in the free regions, you can see some here.

I use Infinite Passengers, and most of the time I have no issues with it. If I get a notification like a FaceTime call, I find I have to go back into it for it to reconnect to IF. There aren’t any other apps that offer airline-specific announcements (Another third-party app called IF Assistant has generic ones as an in-app purchase).

If you use Simbrief (free flight planner), it can provide V-Speeds for the majority of aircraft in Infinite Flight (one exception I can think of is the A220).

Yes! Its worth the money and provides a ton of routes along with lots of aircrafts and i would recommend it to you if you want to become a streamer

You’re going to really struggle with your said equipment, that and not having Pro. I’d say in order to learn more about aviation, if you don’t already, play Aerofly FS Global. You’re gonna need IF Pro, a good screen recording application, and a sensible content flow.

Hi there! To answer your third question. You can use simbrief. In the performance & tools section you can automatically compute the V1, VR, V2 speed of the aircraft. You only just have to create your initial flight plan, once done you can just sync that in by clicking “populate from last flight plan” then the system will do it automatically for you. I hope this helps you
