Hello IFC. Every time I depart/arrive from Istanbul, Turkey (which is quite frequently) I notice that the local time in the simulator is set to 1 hour behind the actual time in turkey right then. I am based in Chicago, IL., so for me, Turkey should be 9 hours ahead, however, on the local time in the simulator, it always shows it as 8 hours ahead. Is this an issue just for me or within the simulator? Any help is appreciated. 😁
Click on current time. If you adjust the slider while on current time it stays enabled. It should revert back to real time.
I always keep it on current time and have not changed it. Will give this a try though.
I can confirm this issue… I will tag @schyllberg on this one. Seb is Infinite Flights Support Manager and hopefully he will take a bigger look into this
Yes, the current time in the simulator is off an hour. This is a known issue and is only something that the developers can fix.
You can always manually change the time to match the real time in Turkey.
Turkey Reintroduces Daylight Saving Time
I believe the IF has not updated this.
Hey you were using the Time zone for simulator I think you want the IRL one
Sydney’s time also does not update when Daylight Savings (DST) kicks in I believe.
It’s being investigated. We’re aware of a few random discrepancies in some time zones. Both ones like this as well as some were it says GMT +8 instead of GMT -8 for example… (the issue is with the API we use…)
Where about’s in turkey
@Elliott . Just read…
