TIME x5 Issue

So for some reason the game will not work if you taxi with 5 times speed in a mid sized aircraft it will just teleport you in the middle of nowhere with crazy altitude and no option to start at the runway nor teleport you to the short final and makes you restart the game to function properly (android 14, one ui 6)

Hi! I can’t reproduce the issue on Android 14, UI 6.
Could you add some information?

  • What device are you using?
  • what do you mean with the following:
  • what aircraft were you using?

I’m a big fan of 5 times speed. But to be honest, it never occurred to me to use it for taxi.

The longest taxi times are short compared to most any flight time situation.

Also, 5x is only available in solo mode, so you can taxi at speed at faster than normal anyway.

But in solo mode you can also skip the taxi and go directly to the takeoff position.

So, I assume 5x for taxi is outside of the design intention.

Though it’s interesting what you found. And there may or may not be something to this:

So i just found out that my wind gusts were gliched out. They were 98knts

I am using a samsung a33, i was on a crj 200 (i cheked and it doesnt work for big aircrafts)
And i used the 5× speed in soloflight with autopilot.

The TIME x5 feature is only supposed to be used in the air. :)
I’ll try to reproduce this issue and make a note of this internally.
In the meantime, have fun with it! :)

@Slah, just to be sure, did you activate the AP on the ground when this happened?
If so, this isn’t really an issue, since you shouldn’t use the AP on the ground anyway. ;)

I changed the topic’s title to have it reflect the actual issue. ;)

I would enjoy it if i didnt have to restart the game constantly. And i did use AP on the ground

By the way its a wind gust glich too. I dont think the wind gust should go up to 98 knots when the max i can set it to is 49 knots

This would be problem number one. Don’t :)

This can happen if you’ve flown multiplayer recently. The winds can sometimes “transfer” over to solo session. It’s something we’re aware of happening at times.
