Hello all!
I just heard about this story and figured the community might want to know about it too. Especially if you live in the Las Vegas area. Tomorrow at 2:30 PST, the USAF Thunderbirds Demonstration Team will be flying around the Las Vegas valley to commemorate all of our frontline health workers. They are planning to carry sixteen American flags to honor the sixteen major hospitals in Las Vegas. According to Nellis AFB officials, they should be visible throughout the valley.
“We know who the real heroes in the valley are, and it will give the community a chance to look up for a minute and for them to know we are all in this together.”
Brigadier General Robert Novotny
The team plans to overfly the 16 major hospitals in Las Vegas. They are urging people to stay in their homes to view the show, to maintain social distancing measures.
“Residents along the flight path can expect a few seconds of jet noise as the aircraft pass overhead, along with the sight of high-performance fighter aircraft flying close in precise formation.”
