THRUSTMASTER TCA Q-Eng Throttle Calibration

Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra
Android 15 / One UI 7.0

Hello everyone,

I have the following question.

I am using the Airbus Thrustmaster SideStick and Throttle Quadrant. They are connected separately, via a USB-C hub, to my Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra.

I mapped everything, and they both work well.

However, I cannot calibrate the thrust levers to 0% thrust correctly.

When the throttle levers are at idle, Infinite Flight shows 26% thrust. Infinite Flight detects the 0% idle position only when the levers are at the 100% reverse thrust position.

I was able to assign reverse thrust to be enabled by pulling the levers to the reverse thrust position though.

However, this means that when taxiing, with the thrust levers at idle, the aircraft in Infinite Flight has a thrust setting of approximately 26%.

Here you can see the Thrust Levers are on Idle.

And here you can see the input Infinite Flights detects.

Thanks for any help!

All the best
Mehdi

The reverse thrust feature only works on flight sims that officially support the throttle like MSFS.
Since IF doesn’t officially support TCA Throttle, throttle has to be all the way down(To 100% reverse thrust/To 0 marking between the levers) to be recognized as idle thrust…It’s sad :frowning:

Some solutions are;

  1. Disable the reverse lock so the throttle moves all the way freely. For reverse thrust, use the throttle in the game
  2. Increase the null zone so idle on TCA throttle matches with idle IG. For reverse thrust, same method as above.

You can assign a button for reverse thrust, but I’m not sure pressing the button is whether 100% reverse or letting you use throttle as reverse.
