Thrustmaster Support on iOS?

Hey,

does anyone know if this Thrustmaster set is somehow supported by Infinite Flight and how to connect it when using iPad? Simply via USB?

Would really appreciate this especially when using AirPlay to stream IF on my iMac screen.

Greetings

Hey there!

The joystick should work as I know people who use it. Not 100% sure about the throttle quadrant though.

Unfortunately, iOS devices do not support direct connection of joysticks via USB.

You need to use this program (laptop required):

Thanks Benny, as always, for an incredible fast answer.

I really would love to see IF cooperate with Thrustmaster to somehow create a set that’s Bluetooth capable and completely compatible with If, maybe even with an own preset setup in the controls.

Something like joysticks would not work very well over a wireless connection, as you would likely have much more input delay compared to a wired connection, which is not something you want with joysticks.

Yeah, true. So a setup that’s usb c compatible would do the trick.

Even then you have the iOS limitation of not allowing them. That’s not something the IF devs can really do anything about.

Thought of something else… it might not be the same like above, but, iOS is compatible to use PS5 controllers. And there are also Joysticks for PS5. Did anybody try to use this? The latency might be ignorable as you can play racing games on iOS with these regular controllers without a noticeable delay
