It looks nice. I love the clouds behind the 747 and the other aircraft.
That’s caused by the tips of the wings. Those clouds are known as wing vertices.

No. The 747 has its gear down because it’s much heavier or something but anyways they go down earlier. The second plane could be about six miles out.

Anyway, why do you call this “approach pattern”? I highly doubt those planes were doing touch and goes.
