Thomas Cook B757-200

Hi All,

I am creating this topic in an attempt to try and get some support for the reinstatement of the Thomas Cook livery on the newly reworked B757-200.

Although update 20.3 is brilliant and some of the new liveries are really unique, this new update has removed the Thomas Cook livery, along with many other diverse liveries, unique to the 757.

Thomas Cook operated 19 752 throughout their history and was one of the biggest operators of the 757 in the UK. I feel a large part of the UK 757 history has been left out with the livery’s removal.

The Devs have really pushed for a diverse livery list and I believe the Thomas Cook livery was diverse as we haven’t got any newly reworked Thomas Cook aircraft sporting the old blue livery. So I find it’s removal puzzling. (I am aware of the 767, but it is in a bad way).

All this is my opinion of course and my view is one of a biased position as I have loads of memories of flying on the TC 757 as a kid, but I hope we can gain enough support for the devs to consider reinstating the TC livery.

Hello! The Thomas Cook livery is wonderful! However, this belongs in #features, and to post their you need to be TL2, which you are not unfortunately.

They have, but I just don’t understand why they would remove several major operators of the 757 to do it.

Yes, I feel the same, seems like they got the balance wrong.

Quite sad to see the TCX 757 go from IF. Use to fly on it almost every year for holidays.

Likewise, also feel they missed an opportunity to keep a livery unique to the 757.

It is a shame, considering it had one of the largest fleets of 757s, I am surprised to see it retired.
