This is some serious stuff!

I suddenly saw him following me on the rader, although he was still far of. He followed me till the airport. My passengers didn’t like it! So fighter pilot, say sorry to my fellow very scared passengers :(

Flaps 30 at 5.000 ft and 200 kts, that’s not serious.

Only two times in my whole carrier as IF Live pilot a plane followed me. One was on my second or third flight ever. Got escorted by a B737.
The other was a Fighter some weeks ago performing touch & goes at LAX while I was doing the same on the same runway.

Fabian. Fighter Pilots often fly intercepts against Ez target on IF. You can count the daily Fighter sorties on your toes. What you experience is an intercept gone astray out of a lack of experience, over enthusiasm and the lack of another fighter aloft in the airspace who is willing to go one on one with another fighter due to lack of experience or a lazafair attitude. Don’t misunderstand I don’t believe a close pass to a commercial aircraft is acceptable. A fighter following on the approach is a different matter it’s an every day evolution in both controlled & uncontrolled airspace. In future suggest you use the report button on the flat Hatting novice fighter pilot wannabe who comes close aboard. Real Fighter Pilots fly by the rules and only hassle among themselves in uncontrolled remote airspace. Hope this was helpful. Your Post should act as a heads up for the wannabe jocks who violate acceptable ACM protocols.

(ACM= Air Combat Maneuvering/// ACM Hard Deck is FL100AGL routinely, the close aboard by the identifiable F-22 at FL40+- MSL is unacceptable)

One was trying to crash into me one time, so I just put the seat belt sign on. But all other times I was escorted (Probably I was in FDS liveries.

As one of those IF pilots flying fighter sorties on a regular basis, I believe that it is only appropriate to escort unknown pilots when they meet at least 2 of the following conditions:

  • Flying a gov’t type livery
  • Flying without a flight plan
  • Operating at Military airports and/or in restricted airspace

Is that fair enough? It appears that you didn’t fit my personal criteria for an escort. I feel bad when I see fighters annoying commercial planes on a filled flight plan. As Max was saying, fighter pilots are extremely safe!! I hope this helps the novice fighter pilots… Interrogate your target before intercept, and keep your situation awareness up.

One followed me yesterday. A fighter jet was following an a321 then when the a321 pilot logged off it started to follow me. I think they were dodge-fighting.

I agree VFR for GA, but for commercial I have mixed feelings. For the realism everyone wants, they should be filling. Plus I needed a discriminator for KNUC! That is the definition of job security for an IF escort pilot (jk).

Haha, with my luck they would all divert to Edwards or Mirimar.

I would be scared too if my flaps were 30° at 200knts.

I once had a fighter jet inside me whilst I was on short final. It ended up overtaking me by landing…
