…or you could start Vueling VA, not taken and they do fly nice european routes…just a thought…
Thank you everyone who is voting. I will take the decision THIS WEEKEND. You will probably see it (if I decide to create it) the WEEKEND after the decision.
Be careful with this one, there is already a British Airways Virtual.
Yes, I perfectly know it, I will contact them to clear if I can use BAVA, and if not, it doesn’t happen nothing, just without London
IFVARB will still deny you, you need a brand new airline with new ideas.
Well, it’s a new idea. I think creating IAGVA wasn’t said before.
Your still using BAVA and other VAs
I will negociate with BAVA, and we will get to a decision.
They will say no, IFVARB will also deny you.
You can’t lose nothing for trying. I will negociate first with @Matt_1 and then with @ewanfleming
They still won’t let you, they don’t want you taking credit for their ideas. Please pick something else,
Ok calm down. There is no harm in trying man. You can’t tell him he can’t do this or they will deny you because you’re not the IFVARB. If you have something to say, make sure it is nice and constructive. Above you simply just put this individual down because you thought you knew all. Who knows maybe they will approve this airline. We shall see. Best of luck @Alboma :)
The other airlines are reserved meaning someone has claimed them and you cant touch them. Those are VA’s being already developed under the approval of the IFVARB.
Thank you for supporting me!
IAG isn’t really an airline, but multiple airlines are owned by it, so maybe you could make it an alliance?
But I think alliances are different than what IAG is.
@ADDY28 yes, they are. IAG are just Group Airlines. example like: Lufthansa Group. Alliance is different which it has individual owners.
Six days to take the decision. For the moment, 69 votes, 68% of people thinks it would be interesting, and the other 32% thinks it wouldn’t be interesting. Thank you for supporting!
If someone is interested in being part of IAG VA, you can send a PM to me. These are the Board of Directors needed for people who’s interested:
-
Recruiter: This person is who receives the application requests and manage all the application requests and the filter to accept or reject someone.
-
COO (Chief Operating Officer): This person is responsible for day to day operating of the Virtual Airline and ensuring it all goes smoothly, accounting for any change along the way.
-
Head of Public Relations: This person’s role is to ensure that the Virtual Airline is associated with that of professionalism and if desired, realism. They must keep the website and main announcement thread up to date and relevant.
-
Chief Pilot (taken, it’s @CaptainCam!): This individual ensure pilot activity and skill is kept constant and to a high standard. As well as ensuring that any changes that are needed, are put into the pipeline.
Also, if someone is interested on being an IAGVA Pilot or just wants to know more about IAGVA like all hubs, some routes or anything else, please PM me.
Please first confirm with the VARB if creating an IAG Virtual is a-ok.
