given many new people joined the sim and many changes took place- what are things you wish you can tell other pilots? what are your IF pet peeves?

I hate when people hold short of the runway when there’s no traffic
Please do not see me on final, announce hold short, then line up and wait when I’m on 4nm final and just sit there, forcing me to go around…
Same but I’m guilty of sometimes doing this to calculate stuff or use the bathroom quickly 😭
People who take their sweet time to do an immediate takeoff despite multiple expedite requests
Also if you must race people to try and get ahead you probably don’t have time for a flight
I guess i’ll throw out my before takeoff checklist…
I have been waiting on this topic for months. Time to expose.
People who post events on the same day of the event.
ATC that never responds.
ATC that report you when you’re not online.
When a player slips in front of you in line for landing forcing you to go around.
When a player is going WAY to fast behind you on landing but won’t go around.
I have more.
Fighters that consistently buzz you and ‘hit’ you. I’m in a A332, I’m not flying in formation with you. There is plenty of sky, go find your own patch of it.
People that treat airports like their own raceway. Taking off from 10 and then flipping 180 TG 28 and repeat ad infinitum in a B738. It’s especially annoying when you’re making appropriate calls as to your location after a long haul and just want to get on the ground. At least join the pattern if you’re looking to do some TGs.
Landing on runways and not checking the wind. I’m assuming it’s because they can’t/wont edit their FP en route. Weather changes, adapt.
