So i was at this store and i’m looking at these books and there was 2 that caught my attention. 1 being the history of LAX and the second being the history of my hometown. i’m looking through that one and find out that there was a B-26 World War II-era twin-engine Martin Marauder that had just took off from LAX and something was off with the right engine. the pilot knew as soon as they lifted off they needed to land asap. only thing is they didn’t. they crashed on my street killing 6 people. here’s the full story. Oh and this crash was from 1969.

Interesting. There are 2 plane crashes (historically) that I know of in the Minneapolis - St. Paul metro.

Not my home airport but there was a plane crash at charlotte
Very interesting. The only commercial accidents even related to my area of LA are USAir and Skywest accident, and the Aeromexico and Piper collisions.
