The world's first black Star Alliance livery!

Air New Zealand has unveiled a pretty unique new livery for one of it’s new yet to be delivered domestic A321NEO’s and I personally quite like it! It’s the first time a star alliance aircraft will be painted black with the color set being inverted, and Air NZ dropping the iconic Koru on the tail for this aircraft.

Wow what a nice livery ! :)

It would look better on the 777 , looks like NZ is running low on money lol 👀

  1. The B777 is an aircraft type with an uncertain future in the NZ fleet, even though it was brought back for now
  2. A321neo will keep flying longer, hence the Star Alliance livery will be around longer

All correct. And just to add, this aircraft is yet to be delivered whereas the 777’s are already part of the fleet, therefore it makes much more sense practically to just paint the new aircraft rather than on one that is already painted.
