The Contrail World Tour is an ongoing Infinite Flight initiative with the goal of completing flights to every country in the world, organised by continent flying east to west.
Every leg is logged and tracked; total distance flown, countries visited, landings recorded, and Earth circumnavigations accumulated along the way. Each phase will be documented in this thread as the tour progresses.
Structure
The tour is divided into phases by continent, completed in the following order:
Oceania
Asia
Africa
Europe
South America
North America & the Caribbean
Rules & Standards
All legs completed as part of the Contrail World Tour adhere to the following standards:
Real-world routes only — every leg must follow a route operated by a real-world airline or reflect a realistic city pair
Expert Server only — all flights must be conducted on Infinite Flight’s Expert Server
Full flights only — every leg must be flown in its entirety from pushback to gate arrival; no pattern work or partial flights count
Every flight must be logged — all legs are recorded in Contrail; unlogged flights do not count toward tour totals
Every flight must be reported — a reply will be posted in this thread for every completed leg with route, landing data, and updated statistics
One flight per country minimum — at least one flight must depart from or arrive into each country to mark it as visited
