The War Continues: LATAM Increases Flights Between Lima & Miami

This is one of the things I love about aviation.

For context, in September 2019, Delta Air Lines bought a 20% stake in LATAM. This prompted LATAM to cut ties with American Airlines and subsequently leave Oneworld, which will take in effect from October 1, 2020.

Now, as a result of this, American Airlines quickly responded by increasing its Miami to Lima flight from two flights a day to three flights. (Along with increasing Miami to Sao Paulo & Santiago)

Now, LATAM has responded to American Airlines:

From June 1, 2020, LATAM will launch a 3rd daily flight between Lima and Miami:

  • This 3rd flight will be operated with a Boeing 767-300

Flight Schedule:

LA2460 LIM0830 – 1520MIA 763 D
LA2462 LIM1215 – 1905MIA 763 D

LA2463 MIA1542 – 2021LIM 763 D

I can’t wait to see what comes next! The war between American Airlines & Delta Air Lines (+LATAM) continues!
